Meet The Team

Robert Papak
Robert is a Masters student in the META Lab. He is interested in studying adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), resilience, and imagery-based interventions for unresolved event-memories. He has earned a BA (Honours) in Psychology with Thesis with a minor in Philosophy.

Nour Yassine
Nour is a second-year master's student. She is also our lab coordinator. Nour is interested in investigating inter- and intra-personal factors that influence decisions about the veracity of memories. She has obtained a BA (Honours) Psychology with Thesis with a Minor in Informational Technology.

Anas Alsayed Hasan
Anas is a first-year master's student. He completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Carleton University and a psychology specialist program at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. Anas is interested in exploring how mindfulness strategies might facilitate psychological closure and emotional change for distressing and unresolved autobiographical memories.

Serena Robinson
Serena graduated as an Honours Psychology with Thesis and Music student. She conducted her honours thesis on the effects of self-compassion on cognitions and emotions associated with unresolved event memories under the supervision of Dr. Boucher.

Meaghan Sider
Meaghan graduated with a degree in Honours Psychology with a Thesis. She conducted an honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Boucher. Meaghan used qualitative methods to examine barriers to and determinants of psychological closure using a large North American sample.

Elyssa Biscocho
Elyssa is a fourth-year Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences student. She is currently a research assistant in the META Lab.

Brynn Bondy
Brynn conducted an honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Boucher. She examined barriers to and determinants of psychological closure for resolved and unresolved event-memories. She has graduated with a BA (Honours) in Psychology with Thesis and is a current research assistant in the META Lab.

Camille Busby
Camille conducted an honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Boucher. She examined the effects of narrative perspective on self-compassion, emotion, and psychological closure for unresolved event-memories. She graduated with a BA (Honours) in Psychology with Thesis and is a current research assistant in the META Lab.

Evan White
Evan is a fourth-year Honours Psychology with Thesis student. He is currently a research assistant in the META Lab with hopes of pursuing research in the area of trauma-related disorders and recovery.

Melak Hayata
Melak is in her third year of Honours Psychology with Thesis. She is currently a research assistant at the META Lab.

Morghan Crampsie
Morghan is in her third year of the Psychology Honours with Thesis program at the University of Windsor. She is a research assistant in Dr. Boucher's META lab. Morghan hopes to attend a graduate program in adult clinical psychology and eventually open her own clinical practice!

Caterina Wiggins
Caterina is a fourth-year Honors Psychology student currently completing her thesis. She is a research assistant at the META lab. Her research investigates the influence of narrative perspectives on self-compassion, psychological closure and affect for unresolved memories.

April Iqbal
April is a second-year Honours Psychology with Thesis student. She is currently a research assistant and Outstanding Scholar in the META Lab.
